MEET ARCH

Arch's martial arts journey is now at 30 years plus- beginning at 13 years old when he started learning Boxing. Shortly after, at 16 he began to pursue martial arts such as Wing Chun/Kung Fu taught by a Retired Royal Marine Commando, and later in 2000 commencing a style of martial arts best described as Modified Wing Chun (perhaps a precursor to MMA) which combined Wing Chun, Boxing/Dutch Style Kickboxing/Kyokushin, Knife and Stick Fighting, Shooto/Submission Grappling and
BJJ.

Today Arch holds a brown belt in BJJ. And has also trained Shooto for 25years as well as also briefly training and grading in Sambo (FIAS). In 2015 Arch began training in Judo and Japanese Jujitsu and was instantly hooked as it also ties into Budo culture, and has continued to learn and develop skills and knowledge of art until today. Arch is honoured to hold a Black belt in Japanese Jujitsu/ Kawaishi Judo under Shihan Terry Riches, also brown belt in Olympic Judo, and was recently accepted as member of Jissen Budo International by Shihan Paul Cale. Arch now stives to deliver this combination of experiences and knowledge in each class.

  • Working with Children NSW,

  • Competed in Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Shooto/Pancrase, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu,

  • Submission Grappling & Judo.
