Ascend Martial arts is a brand new business coming to Tweed Heads in late May that offers a range of different disciplines and styles, as well as offering both martial arts classes and general fitness classes. Ascend Martial Arts has a fully equipped functional training gym and mat space kitted out with wall mats and hanging bags.
Even better, Ascend is fully air conditioned, and with dedicated staff on all day, you can use both the gym and the mat spaces anytime you like! We have a range of packages available as well so you'll only pay for the services you want to use.
Ascend is run by duo Michael Woodward and Grant Brechney, who met whilst training under Hanshi Kevin Blundell at Kumiai-Ryu, Port Macqaurie. Since then, their shared love for fitness and martial arts fostered into an idea for an all in one centre that would allow people to pursue all of their fitness and martial arts goals under one roof.
That idea became Ascend Martial Arts. Offering expert instruction in Muay Thai, Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, there is certainly something for everyone. Our instructors are also fully qualified gym instructors and personal trainers, and can help you to reach any of your fitness goals, no matter where you're starting.
